High Definition lace, also known as HD lace is a form of Swiss lace with a low denier that allows the fabric to appear transparent and undetectable. It is both thinner and finer than Swiss lace. However HD lace should not be confused with transparent lace, as transparent lace has a white base and a higher denier.
HD lace can come in many tints (light brown, med brown, dark brown) just like regular Swiss lace.
Denier is a unit of measurement used to determine the thickness of individual threads/filaments used in the creation of fabrics. The higher the denier, the thicker the lace.
